Here's a video showing the Sony NEX-3 using Sweep Panorama in portrait mode in the up direction. This is excellent for cityscapes. More info and video tutorial from our previous Sweep Panorama post.
How to get Vertical Panorama on the Sony NEX:
- Menu > Shoot Mode > Sweep Panorama
- Menu > Camera > Panorama Direction > Up or Down
- (Optional) Menu > Image Size > Panorama > Image Size > Standard or Wide
